Well being programmes

SCEAP want to help more people in their community. They have decided to run well being workshops and programmes throughout the year, planning and improving on the service they offer.

There will be a monthly workshop, open to anyone, at the farm on the SCEAP site.

Self-love and Healing is the theme for February, New beginnings and Energy Boost for March. Other details will be released throughout the next few weeks. There will be a range of creative and reflective activities built around the theme, and will include other professionals bringing their expertise with them.

Christine Emery, an experienced counsellor and teacher, is providing a beautiful and harmonious Sound Bath in February. She says: " Your life is happening for a reason. Everything you encounter and every interaction that you have is an opportunity for you to learn more about yourself to create authentic power. Relaxation therapy, together with sound healing, calms the nervous system and can be deeply moving to the mind, body and spirit. You will experience harmonious vibrations and tones and bring the body into a peaceful state."

This month also sees SCEAP continuing their relationship with Action For Children and providing meaningful Pony Experiences, where the children learn to respect and honour the ponies, having shared interactions with them and responding to them in their own natural way.

The pilot programme has also started, providing an exciting project merging the Equine work along with Creative responses; a twelve week programme that allows young people to learn and reflect at their own pace. They will learn about care, responsibility, and behaviours through the animals, create meaningful bonds and find out more about themselves, as well as developing their confidence, self esteem. They will then respond to their learning by creating a portfolio of creative work, through

a combination of painting, drawing, media or writing.

All of our programmes are created with the community in mind and are tailored for individuals. If you wouldike any additional information, please contact us on info@sceap.co.uk
